Terms of Service
The agreement governing your use of Bloomopia as an informational self-care and wellbeing companion.
Last updated: 10 July 2026
1. Introduction & acceptance
Welcome to Bloomopia (“Bloomopia”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Bloomopia mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Bloomopia is operated as an independent informational wellbeing platform. We are not part of, endorsed by, or affiliated with the NHS, any national health service, local authority, or registered charity unless explicitly stated in a separate written partnership agreement.
2. Personal, non-commercial licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial wellbeing and self-care purposes only.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense any part of the Service.
- You may not reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or underlying models except where permitted by law.
- You may not use the Service for commercial counselling, clinical triage, or any regulated healthcare activity without appropriate professional registration and separate agreement with us.
- You may not use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others.
3. Eligibility & age requirements
The Service is intended for users aged 18 years or older. If you are under 18, you may only use Bloomopia with the verified consent and ongoing supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement or have obtained appropriate parental consent. We may request verification and suspend accounts that do not meet eligibility standards.
4. User accounts & security
Where account registration is offered, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorised access or security breach.
- Not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authority.
- Log out of shared devices and enable device-level security where available.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to users or the integrity of the Service.
5. Clinical disclaimer & liability
Content within Bloomopia — including AI-generated responses, guides, pathways, and resource links — is provided for general informational and supportive purposes only. It may be incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your individual circumstances.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, mental health crisis, or are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services immediately (e.g. 999 in the UK, 911 in the US, 112 in the EU, or your local equivalent). Do not rely on Bloomopia for emergency assistance.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bloomopia and its operators, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on the Service, including any health-related decisions made based on information provided through the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
6. AI-assisted content
Bloomopia may use artificial intelligence to generate conversational responses and personalised suggestions. AI outputs may contain errors and must not be treated as professional advice. You remain solely responsible for decisions you make based on interactions with the Service.
7. Third-party resources & links
The Service may reference or link to third-party websites, charities, health services, maps, and helplines. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices. Inclusion of a resource does not constitute endorsement.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
- Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Do not attempt to bypass security, usage limits, or access controls.
- Do not use the Service to provide regulated clinical services to third parties.
9. Subscriptions & payments
Plus and Pro features, where offered, are subject to pricing displayed at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with platform store policies. Refunds are handled per Apple App Store, Google Play, or web checkout terms as applicable.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence where applicable.
